Title: On and On Author: Noelle Leithe (noelleleithe@yahoo.com) Rated: PG Category: 155 words, MSR Spoilers: Season 8 Summary: He'd take what he could. "I guess that's all of it," he said, surveying the third suitcase lying open, stuffed with jeans and t-shirts. A haze of dust whirled as he turned to look at her, standing by the window, her familiar edges blurred by motherhood and fall sunshine. Or maybe it was those blasted tears again. "Bus leaves in an hour," she said, words cut short like their life together. Her back was rigid with the force of her control. The decision made, together, they had only to live with it. His gaze wandered her small form, red hair, blue eyes, curves made for his hands; yet he knew it was her intricate mind that would keep him awake at night, wanting. He'd take what he could, while he still had the chance. He took a step, then another, watching as if outside himself as his hands pulled her close. "We've got time," he murmured against her satin-soft lips. =====END===== Title quote: "Life is not so much about beginnings and endings as it is about going on and on and on.
