"Little feet, Mulder. You said little feet."

"I notice these things, Scully. Even then." He thumbed her instep as he
gingerly brought her foot forward onto his thigh.

"Selective things to be precise. Like people who eat meat pies are
adventurous in bed--"

"Like your birthday is coming soon." She felt a wet lick on her toe and
serious suction ensued. Her head burrowed deeper into her side of the
couch. Rubbing the naked skin behind her, she contemplated his sudden
remembrance.

She gasped.

"Good save."

Mulder released her toe with a smooch and patted her belly. "Good view."

Scully finally opened her eyes and lifted her arms over her head. She
shimmied her captured foot free from his hands and traced his jaw.

"But still," her wet toe kissed his lips, "little feet, Mulder."

He chuckled, felt loved. "They don't go on forever, Scully, but I know
they end up in heaven."
